The Grand Opening will include an introduction to Concord’s history, including:

- Agriculture & Economy
- Communications & Transportation,
- Education and Home Life

Special Attraction
Historical Model Railroad Layout
A group of the San Ramon Valley Branch of the Southern Pacific Railroad will present an N-scale model railroad depiction of SP’s former branch line (circa 1914 to 1924) that connected Concord, Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville and San Ramon to destinations beyond. Model railroaders will be on hand to share Branch Line’s history.
