Womens Work at the Galindo Home

Now on display at the Galindo Home. Come and see examples of creativity, artistic expression and excellent workmanship  produced by women in their “spare; time.

Traditionally women were kept out of the professional creative arts, but needing to express themselves, women began to work from home generating all kinds of creative expressions, in all types of medium. Women were stitchers, painters, ceramicists, producing works of beauty, both practical and expressive.

Women’s work is never done. Come to the Galindo Home to explore a celebration of Women’s Work in Concord.
